Alibaba Business School together with Nanyang International Business College (NIBC) designed this ASEAN E-commerce program, aiming to broaden entrepreneurs’ horizons in the fast-changing Internet era. The 6-day training program consisted of 3 days of training course in Singapore conducted by local and overseas industry experts, which included in-depth learning about the changes in business model, innovation and enterprise organization brought by the Internet era, and 3 days of learning tour in Hangzhou, which provided a platform to communicate with Chinese Internet entrepreneurs and also explored the resources & opportunities available in China.
This program benefited business owners, professionals, managers and executives (PMEs) who were involved in traditional business, the Internet strategy planning, E-commerce development and marketing, warehouse logistics, investment and financial institutions, fintech and incubators.
Alibaba Business School was established on October 31, 2008. It is a school-enterprise cooperation school jointly established by Hangzhou Normal University and Alibaba Group. Jack Ma, a famous alumnus of Hangzhou Normal University and the former chairman of the board of Alibaba Group, became the first chairman and dean of the school. With the mission of cultivating innovative and outstanding management talents and entrepreneurs in the digital economy era, the school is committed to business and management theory innovation and strives to become a benchmark for new business schools. The current dean of the college is Professor Zeng Ming, former director of the Alibaba Group Academic Committee.
